Water in the cabin: where it comes from and why the electronics are at risk

  • Blow the sunroof and scuttle drains through once a season.
  • Clear leaves from under the bonnet by the screen every autumn.
  • Clean and treat the door seals, especially before winter.
  • Check the air conditioning drain — there should be a puddle of condensate under the car in hot weather.
