Oxygen sensor in the exhaust.
The O2 sensor measures oxygen content in the exhaust and reports the air-fuel ratio to the ECU. The upstream sensor (before the catalyst) drives fuel-trim closed-loop feedback. The downstream sensor (after the catalyst) monitors catalyst efficiency. Central to diagnosing P0130-P0167 and P0420.
