Roles and access

Car Diagnostics uses an RBAC model. Each role defines which sections and actions are available to a user.

Role list

• Admin — full access to every section, user and platform management.
• Manager — fleet management, reports, analytics, no admin actions.
• Technician — diagnostics work: sessions, DTC read/clear, AI chat.
• Viewer — read-only data access, no edits.

Guest mode

You can use the platform without registering — data is bound to your device and can be “upgraded” into a full account without losing history. See ADR-0051 in the repository.
