Why one fault produces ten codes

Every control module needs a stable supply. When voltage sags below what a module needs, that module resets or stops responding, and every other module on the network reports that it lost communication with it.

The result is a scan full of U-codes across systems with no mechanical relationship: ABS, airbag, cluster, radio, transmission.
