Three steps to your first scan
-
1. Install from Google Play
Tap the button below or scan the QR code with your phone camera — Google Play will open the app page. Standard install, no "unknown sources" flag required.
-
2. Get an ELM327 adapter
Any Bluetooth Classic ELM327 v1.5+ adapter works — starting around $10 retail. We don't sell adapters ourselves; verified models and the Bluetooth Classic vs BLE difference are documented.
-
3. Pair and scan
Turn ignition on, plug the adapter into the OBD-II port, pair over Bluetooth, and tap "Scan DTC". Read operations (Mode 01/03/09) are fully passive — safe by design.
